Company Safety Policy

The following Safety Policy has been prepared to confirm to the following:

HEALTH & SAFETY AT WORK ACT 1974
MANAGEMENT OF HEALTH & SAFETY AT WORK ACT 1992
CONSTRUCTION (DESIGN & MANAGEMENT) REGULATIONS 1994

General Statement

The Board of Directors declares that during the course of its work all reasonably practicable measures shall be taken in order to avoid risk to its employees and others who may be affected.

The management and supervisory staff have a responsibility of implementing the policy throughout the whole company and the operatives and sub-contractors have a duty to co-operate with the company in effecting this policy.

The Board of Directors has appointed Mr William Lyden as having specific responsibilities for health, safety and welfare within the company. Reference should be made to him in the event of difficulties arising from the implementation of this policy.

Management and staff of the company shall monitor the operation of this policy. The organisation and details of this document will be freely available to each site office and other workplace for inspection by the employees as and when required.
